2000:
Bandits begin play in Sacramento, California, at Hornet Field.  The team enters the SFL's Western Conference in the Pacific Division, and finished their inaugural season at 5-13 (4th place in Division).

2001:
Bandits announce partway through season that the team will move to Las Vegas, Nevada, upon conclusion of the 2001 season; meanwhile, remained in SFL Western Conference, Pacific Division.  Team finished season at 6-12 (4th place in Division).

2002:
Bandits begin play in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium, in the SFL Western Conference's Mountain West Division.  Hired new Head Coach in Chan Gailey.  Team finished season at 8-9-1(3rd place in Division).

2003:
Mountain West Division renamed to Southwest Division.  Bandits finish season at 15-1, and set league record for most regular-season wins.  Team qualifies for playoffs for first time in their history, but lose in Semifinal game to San Francisco Stallions 49-31.  Bandits sold to new owner, Warren Willis Jr, and remain in Las Vegas.

2004:
Bandits move back to Pacific Division, finishing second behind San Francisco Stallions.  Bandits post first-ever playoff win in franchise history, defeating the Houston Wranglers 20-3 at Sam Boyd Stadium.  Bandits lose the Western Quarterfinals at San Francisco 34-22.  Team finishes season 5th overall in total offense, and 14th overall in total defense.
