BANDITS HOST "MEET THE TEAM" DAY & AWARD CEREMONY

Saturday, July 19, 2003 -- The Bandits held a "Meet the Team" day for fans and concluded this special event with a team awards ceremony.  Over 7,500 fans turned out for the day-long event at Sam Boyd Stadium, which also featured a free BBQ and a special performance by the Banditas, the team's cheerleading squad.

Bandits owner Warren Willis kicked off the event at 10:00am with a special "Thank You" speech to fans and attendees, to commemorate a season that saw the Bandits set an all-time league best regular-season record of 15-1.  The free BBQ buffet was then opened for the hungry fans, and stayed open all day long.  At 11:00am the "Meet The Team" session was kicked off, in which every player was in attendance and introduced to fans.  Afterwards, the players sat at tables and signed autographs until 3:00pm, when the Awards Ceremony began.
